The drive mounted, but the light is blinking, no activities, why? In fact, 2 of them started on the same day.
I tried restarting no help. It does not blink before I enter the password on my Mac, then starts again. Thanks.

The Blinking indicates the computer is reading the external drive. The drives get Power from the computer so until the computer is turned on - no power to drive(s) - no blinking.

The reason I posted because it was blinking for a long time, maybe because it was connected for a while, as it's a backup of the backup.
