why is my 2018 mac book air battery is draining quickly after the last update (macOS big sur 11.1) ? the battery doesn't even hold 2 hours

See what's running in the background: Activity Monitor User Guide for Mac - Apple Support

After an update your Mac will reindex the internal drive, (you'll see mdworker and mdsworker processes), that will eat battery power for a couple of days.
