What is SOCD report detected: (AP watchdog expired)?

Same to me right now, both MacMini and green light to monitor

Unfortunately, it happens the same problem: SOCD report detected: (AP watchdog expired).

It happened to me for the 3rd (or maybe fourth time) today. Green screen!

Which CalDigit device are you using? I am curious if they have firmware for other models of hubs as well.

I have the same webcam!

Did you install the Logi G Hub software? I may uninstall it and see if that makes a difference.

I have Logi Capture installed but it always crashes when I try to launch it.

What is the brand of the hub that caused the trouble?

I just got the Green screen restart too....this is bad.

You understand that the restart is a recovery from a system crash, right? Would you prefer that the system hangs indefinitely?

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? We have one of the matching Hub's attached to our Mac Mini M1.

The M1 Mac Mini does not have an SMC.

When you talk to Apple Support, they don’t know anything about that error message. Huge disappointment with Apple.

I just received one myself. I got a green screen, then it rebooted. The first thing I thigh was OMG I have the green screen of death, then I remembered I am on a MAC and it was a blue screen of death on my windows PC. I have a network in the house with a a number of devices. I have run into issues with software over the years but based on what I am reading it may be the external USB hub. Does that mean they under powered the Mac mini? It seems to be going on since 11.2, so that tells me Apple does not give a care on fixing it or even acknowledging the issue. I'm on 11.4.

If Apply care monitors this can you address this please. Please do not tell us to reboot. One reason we paid so much for the Apple is because we did not want Microsoft resolutions ("When in doubt reboot"). If there is a known issue then state what it is and when your estimated fix time is.
