Watch Mic/Dictation Unavailable

For some reason the microphone on my Apple Watch is grayed out even though it is enabled for Siri and dictation. I am not driving when it happens and my airplane mode is not on. Also there is not a "Restriction" setting menu on my phone and Siri is enabled.

How can I turn it back on? It was working a couple weeks ago!

I do not have Restrictions menu on my phone (I searched). I did check the rest of these, though. They're all on.

I was able to fix it, maybe by changing this setting - perhaps I was on silent mode when I was trying to reply. Help this helps, folks!

Check this;

On the phone;

Go to: Settings/Siri & Search - check the all desired settings are enabled.

Go to: Settings/General/Restrictions - check that the restriction for Siri & Dictation is not enabled.

Go to: Settings/General/Keyboard - check that Enable Dictation is turned on.

On your Apple Watch;

Go to: Settings/General/Siri check that Hey Siri is turned on.

To use Hey Siri on Apple Watch, the display must be awake.
