I received a call about 30 mins ago telling me my apple iCloud Acct has been compromised. Was it Apple calling me?? Or a scammer??

I received a call about 30 mins ago on my cell from apple saying my iCloud Acct was compromised and to change my password is this really apple or a scammer calling me??

100% scam.


Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
