Does the iPad Air have nfc because i wanted to use it on my homepod (the feature that when the device gets close it and it connecs to music etc..)

You and members of your home can transfer audio from your iPhone or iPod touch to your HomePod to keep playing from where you left off.
No mention of iPad there.
