Turning Off "Now Playing" on Apple watch

I would like to disable the "Now Playing" display on my Apple Watch. I do not plan to control the music on my iPhone with the watch, and the display is unnecessary. I already turn off Auto-Launch Audio Apps, but it keeps happening.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wake Screen > turn off Auto-Launch Audio Apps.

Hello there Darren_chen123,

While it's not possible to completely disable the "Now Playing" feature, you are on the right path in trying to minimize the ways in which it can be launched unintentionally.

In addition to disabling the Auto-Launch Audio Apps feature, let's also check some additional Apple Watch settings there under the Wake Screen section.

For example, if you scroll down, let's go to the Music and Now Playing sections. Let's make sure the "Return to App" options are both turned off. This ensures that in conjunction with "Auto-Launch Audio Apps" being disabled, even if Music or Now Playing are activated, they won't show up unless you manually open the apps yourself.

We hope this helps!
