My wife and I both bought apple watches. We only have one account for all of our apple devices. When we paired her watch to her iPhone her watch shows up in my settings as my watch not hers. How can I correct this?
Everyone should have their own own Apple ID and use only their Apple ID on their devices.

When you setup your new Apple ID, it'll be blank. I'm not certain how getting your stuff back will work. If I had to guess, you'll have to manually transfer things like documents and contacts but it'll be one time thing.
Sounds like a plan. But before I start this, what happens to my current set up? My iPhone, iPad, and laptop are set up under my husbands apple Id. When I create my own apple id do I lose everything on my devises. We use the cloud for all of our backup data
