Second hand Apple Watch

So I bought an Apple Watch series 3 from someone who is being difficult, long story short is I tried to reset it but it was never deleted from her account. So I can not link it to my phone and sign in to my iCloud with it. Is there anything I can do?

If she can't or won't follow these steps;

What to do before you sell, give away or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else – Apple Support

Then get your money back as the watch will be of no use to you.
