Hello! Yesterday a folder was created in my Documents titled Library
that can't be accessed but seemingly doesn't contain anything. I didn't
install or use any new programs yesterday nor was it a hidden file so I
have no idea where it suddenly came from. Does anyone have any idea what
it might be and do you reckon I can just delete it?

Hey everyone I was able to solve the library file being locked and a way to access your hidden library files.
If your library is empty after opening it, follow my next steps:
If done you will be able to access all your library files that were missing!

Do you have Adobe Creative Cloud in your system?, me too appear exactly the same thing on MacOs Big Sur 11.2.2 and I noticed that it created exactly the same time last Adobe Creative Cloud actualization was installed
I'm in the same boat as everyone else it seems. I also have Adobe Creative Cloud on my MacBook Pro.
I was a little concerned that my machine had a virus or some other form of malicious code. Thankfully that is not the case.
I was able to move the folder to trash but I cannot delete it from the trash folder. It says the folder is in use. It's really annoying me.
I do actually. I also have a Macbook with Creative Cloud where I have the automatic updates turned off so to confirm your theory, I allowed it to update and the Library folder appeared there too. Looks like Adobe Creative Cloud is indeed the cause, thanks very much!
The Library Folder shows also on my Mac. I also use CC.
If I log in as root I can see the contents and I can delete it, but it will create again after restart.
It simply contains an empty 'Logs' folder.
Hi everyone, I was equally annoyed with the Library folder and irreversibly annoyed with Adobe so I uninstalled and deleted all Adobe products, including CC and guess what - the Library folder doesn't show up on restart any more.
Hi, last night I contacted Adobe support via chat and they told me this is a bug concerning to MacOs Apple, I insisted with creation time with the last Creative Cloud update are exactly the same.
Hey, thanks for letting me know! Hopefully they'll fix this bug soon and the folder will stop showing up.
This happened to me as well—in Terminal I did `sudo chmod a+r ~/Documents/Library ; sudo rm -d ~/Documents/Library` to delete it.
and what happen after restart the Mac? or initiate Creative Cloud? does the folder come back?
tbh every problem I had with CC they blamed MacOS and that I had to contact Apple for solution. I'm really sick of them shifting the blame.
