My Comcast email continues to say “no password is entered” when I go into settings, I do have a password entered.

Comcast email account- unable to get any incoming emails. An error screen comes up, saying “password not entered” then my phone ask me if I want to go to settings and enter password.


I already have a password entered. I haven’t changed it. What is happening?

Tap Settings

Tap Mail

Tap Accounts

Tap the Comcast account


Make sure there is a password for both incoming and outgoing (SMTP) sets of settings.
