Is this device and software compatible with your Mac and the version of macOS you are running? Either see if Huawei has a newer version of the software available on their website or purchase a different product that is fully compatible with current macOS security measures.


I would not disable security temporarily to install any software. Most likely the Huawei software will require the security to be disabled permanently which is extremely dangerous. No legitimate macOS software/app should ever require you to disable system security even temporarily. It shows the extreme laziness of the vendor not to provide proper working software unless the vendor no longer supports this product on the version of macOS (and hardware) you are running.


Here is what happened a couple years ago when a Google Chrome update was released for people who had disabled System Integrity Protection (SIP) to allow their third party audio software to work:
