Can I edit strong passwords?
I like the strong password generation function, but can they be edited if disallowed characters are suggested or mandatory characters are omitted? TIA.

Yes, that is what I meant. You can do that whenever you run into suggested characters that do not fit the requirements of that site's password. I must note that those instances should be rare and not often enough to be annoying.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried adding or deleting characters on iPhone, iPad and Mac, but when I click in the field I don't see the cursor or insertion point. Are you advising to override and create one based on the site's parameters rather than editing the supplied one?
Yes, you can override the suggested password and modify it as you see fit. Keep the password around until at least you have tried logging in a few times with it.

I've encountered several sites that don't allow the dashes that always appear in suggested passwords, so those will have to be overridden, but they are in the minority. Thanks for your guidance.
You are welcome.
