how to view files on my desktop iMac from anywhere

If you are using iCloud Drive, with the option for Desktop & Documents checked, then it will sync to the cloud and you can access your files from a browser. Also, if you have another computer using iCloud Drive your files will sync up and you can access them there as well.

What do you mean "anywhere" Do you mean, if you mean for example if the computer is in Tanzania and you are in Moscow Russia you want to see what is on your desktop or do you mean something else?
