energy Saver is gone with Big Sur. Now my computer is not shutting down or going to sleep when idle. I have to manual shut down every time. Help please?

You neglected to mention you were on a laptop. The settings are under "Battery".
Last line of icons in System Preferences.
Enter it in the search field.
You're welcome. The signature under your original post says "Mac Pro". It's no big deal. The setting was moved on laptops since Big Sur.
I thought I had mentioned I have a MacBookPro ... but that fixed the problem. Still, prior to Big Sur, my LAPTOP had that energy saving option in the main systems setting menu. It wasn't buried in the Battery - then battery again, options. Thank you.
