How to delink I watch from iphone8 and link to iphone12
It's already delinked from iphone 8 but doesn't allow to connect with iphone 12. Do you mean we need to reconnect with iphone 8 and then do the above steps? Tried reconnecting the watch with old phone but doesn't allow that either.
Mounika point is correct. It is not allowing to pair watch with either 8 or 12. The technical staff has to intervene and help to delink watch and iPhone 8 as find my phone was not erased in the watch and we r unable todo the same.
Find my phone in the watch was not deactivated before delinking the watch from iphone8. It is creating problems in pairing I watch 6 and iPhone 12. It could not be solved yet.
To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock.
On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Go to Find Iphone.
Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase Apple Watch.
Select Next until the device is erased.
Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
