Since Big Sur Update, cannot print
Has anyone else had problems, since doing an update on their Mac to Big Sur, of being able to print to their HP Color Laser Jet CM1312nfi MFP ? Is there a solution apart from buying a new printer.
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

As per HP Support Page they supply drivers only up to macOS 10.12 Sierra. The are the latest Apple HP Printer Drivers on offer. Strongly suggest verifying if you model is listed before attempting to download
Well that's good and well to say that now but Apple should put a warning up before people decide to update their software to inform them of this. Now it's a little late and only solution will be to buy new printer. Not ideal !
I understand the frustration being experienced but
" There are several points to consider before attempting the upgrade to Big Sur. The most important is Due Diligence on the part of the User and is a Prerequisite for a smooth upgrade " and
" Are the installed Applications / Extensions compatible with Big Sur. Check with the Developer for compatible Apps / extension or do they offer updates. Same goes for Third Party Drivers for Printer, Scanners etc. "
Give the open source print driver Gutenprint a try. This page indicates that your printer is supported: Gutenprint Supported Printers.
Thank you so much. Will give that a try. Finally a solution as opposed to advice of what should have been done ie...due diligence...
Well, let's hope it's a valid solution suggestion.
If one had done due diligence before the upgrade - would not be scrambling for solution afterwards.
