We just had out MacBook Pro fixed. We had a new monitor and battery put on it. Since there is a 90 day guarantee I would like to know what kind of diagnostic test we should conduct on it just to make sure everything will running okay.

Apple or the AASP should have run some service diagnostics on it after completing the repair. There isn't a whole lot you can do to test those specific parts other than using the laptop unless you are looking for a specific problem. You can run the consumer level Apple Diagnostics:
All Macs have this thing called diagnostics. To run it, restart your Mac and immediately hold d. If you have a M1 Mac, then upon power on, hold the power button and go to options. Then hold command d. It’ll test your Mac for problems.
