i have just bought a new iPad and pen. The pen isn’t connecting

The Pencil should charge up enough within a hour to test it.

Make sure the tip is screwed on snugly ( NOT super tight )

Yes, I just bought it. It got delivered at 7pm this evening. I will try to charge it overnight and see what happens. If not I will return it as it might be faulty.
