Pages app for Mojave

Yesterday my machine updated to the latest Apple software and it was a disaster. Files were mixed up everywhere, pdf files once in folders were spread all over desktop unreal. I contacted Apple did screen share and it was suggested we go back to Mojave. So we downloaded to a timemachine . Spent fours hours on phone with apple. After 12 hours the time machine failed to download files. Contact Apple not our fault need to go to the manufacturer of the time machine another hour on the phone and get told need to go to a recovery company as there is a problem. So I ring them get told it would cost about $800 to fix.Forget it.

So now I am back at Mojave and now cannot download the Mac Pages etc App.

This is totally unacceptable how Apple is controlling what people do - if you dont upgrade to their system - they upgraded a few years ago the 32 to 64 then they changed iphone camera settings to make users use their photobooks.

Can anyone tell me how I can rectify this problem before I throw Laptop in the rubbish

No wonder so many people are leaving apple and using windows
