I noticed a few payments out of my bank to apple.com. I did not authorise any of these payments. I would be very grateful if u could look into this for me.

First determine if they were real charges on your account, or just scam phishing messages trying to scare you. Phishing messages pretending to be from Apple are unfortunately very common.
But if it is a real charge on your account, follow the steps in here:
