I have AOL email and use the iPhone app to view my email. I cannot update to see new emails. Error message says that password is not stored but it is. Have had this phone for a while and had no issues until now. I have rebooted my phone several times as well with no change

It seems that AOL has made some changes to their account due to security issues. You will have to contact them about using a special security password with your account. AOL will have to explain that to you. I have no idea how it works, just that I have read about the issue with several other AOL users. It is some type of device specific password.
