I unpaired my apple watch from my phone and the app says it’s unpaired but my watch is still linked up but i can get the repairing screen to come back up

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock.
On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Go to Find Iphone.
Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase Apple Watch.
Select Next until the device is erased.
Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.

My iPhone app for the watch says it’s ready to pair a Apple watch but my apple watch is still saying it’s connected to my phone but its not and i cant get my watch to show the code scanner to repair it

Yes i did but the watch says its still paired be the app is not paired anymore
