Display colors & flickering

There is something effecting the display on my MacBook pro 2018, Os Big Sur. The screen has started to flicker and the colors have changed to a very intense hue. Everything is affected. All icons in the dock and other folders and all applications. Part of my business involves editing photos in PS 2021 and the increased color intensity is making that impossible. Here are the steps I've taken so far after backing up:

*reset the PRAM

*checked that the color display profile is set to Color LCD

*disabled color filters

*ran a diagnostic in safe mode ~ found nothing

I truly need to resolve this as I am now behind in my work.

thank you for any suggestions
