Macbook Pro shuts down before backup completes

How do I keep Mac from shutting down during backup? Mac is plugged in and set to stay on for 2 hours.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Hi Glacier-National,


Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, your Mac is set to stay on when connected to power for two hours and is going to sleep before your Time Machine backup completes. Do we have that right? You can go to the Apple Menu () > System Preferences to adjust the setting to turn off the display so that it stays on while the backup completes.
