Why does up next try to start shows I watch with YouTube TV in other apps?
It often starts it in my Spectrum app where the program is not supported. It has also done this with shows I watched on Disney +.
I even have YouTube TV set as my provider in Apple TV settings.

Go to a show’s Details page. For items in Up Next, click-and-hold to bring up the contextual menu, then choose View Details.
On the Details page, scroll down to How to Watch, then select the intended content provider.

Not user friendly but this helps. I’m able to select other options but YouTube TV isn’t one. The up next bar continues to preselect a channel that doesn’t support the show with my current subscription.
I’d rather select my option up front and with YouTube TV available as a selection.
The channel I selected asked for permission to use YouTube TV to play but I had to download the app. Something just doesn’t seem fully connected in the software.
