Restoring deleted messages

I was deleting messages from my iPad and accidentally deleted the text messages from my iPhone. How do I restore the deleted text messages?

Try a Restore:

First, disable iCloud Messages*. Then, restore** your iPhone and iPad from a backup that contains these contacts.
