Apple billing

Ok so I have noticed since April of last year “2020” I have a specific card I used for playing a game on my iPhone so my problem is that sometimes I will not have enough money on the card and try to make a purchase which is rejected so I transfer funds to my game card and reattempt to make my purchase but apple is charging me for the current purchase which is correct but it’s also charging me for the failed attempt.. I Have reached out to Apple 10-15 times to only get the run around over and over it’s like explaining the most simple stuff seems to go over their heads I do t know what to do or think but it’s several hundred dollars and I want my money

If there's a problem with the primary payment method or if the primary payment method can't be charged the full remaining amount, Apple attempts to charge your other payment methods in order, from top to bottom. If none of them can be charged, Apple may try again.

Perhaps you should avoid trying to rebuy an in-app purchase until you're certain the initial purchase isn't going to be represented. You can use the https://reportaproblem.apple.com site to review recent purchases and reconcile them with your statement.
