Text from a blocked contact

This is the first time that I’m not able to block someone from texting me. I believe i know how to block someone, I’ve done it plenty of times...

But my recent ex boyfriend who I blocked from texting me is still able to send me messages.

From the actual text message I usually go to the persons information thing is closed down all the way to the bottom and block them, this prevents them in the future from texting me. If they have an iPhone and they tried texting me after I block them they usually see their message in green and i usually don’t get a message at all!

But with my ex recent ex-boyfriend after I block him I still get his messages, and I get them in blue!
