PS: Apple has never been known to use 'USPS.' Have always
used parcel delivery services. FedEx, United Parcel, DHL +etc.
They'll never deliver or ship to a post office; always to a street
address. Parcel service deliveries in AK rural areas, are a scream.
[I've a few terrible horror stories, this is factual example.]
Although they have been increasingly better over the decades.
..However, to allude 'different facts' in this matter, is pure fiction..
I've had -14°F Apple parcel deliveries by UPS, and had to thaw
them for 4+ hours, well after their driver/truck vanished 120 mi.
In unheated trucks ~ so I learned to wait before opening, least
frost form on the contents, and later short out due to moisture.
They returned to Anchorage. Leaving me to discover (on two
occasions) terminally damaged Apple computers inside boxes.
Never order expensive electronic gear, mid-cold-winter.
Independent authorized resellers in urban area, were un-
willing to perform 'AppleCare' repair on my UPS/FedEX
shipped Macs ~ arrived frozen with hidden damages.
I've history with literally dozen/dozens of older Macs; all DIY
repaired & given away. Most of that era were more repairable.
No longer have mac 'repair hobby' room; & only 4 macs now.
Good luck & happy trails!
