My AirPods Pro not connecting

i bought AirPod pro from a friend and they won’t connect and it kinda slows my phone down when I try to play music and nothing plays only when I take them out of my ear and close the lid then the phone acts fine has anyone else’s had this happen I’ve tried all the reset and forget this device it’s still not working idk what to do I?

Airpods pro won't connect Hi, I have a problem with my airpods, they won't connect. I clicked "forget this device" because 1 of my airpod didn't connect but now I can't connect my aipods. AirPods stopped connecting at all. To anything AirPods were working fine until a week ago. Now they have ceased to connect to anything. Contacted Apple and received a replacement case today; but the problem is still the same. software up to date, reset phone, tried connecting to my iPad, nothing, MacBook,nothing. When I tried connecting my daughters AirPod pros..... they work like a charm. So I know it’s not my phone. I tried to pair it with the other 2 iPhones In my home. Nothing. Any help
