I am unable to mirror my iPad Pro to any AppleTV. I can cast videos to an appleTV, but iPad mirroring does not work. I work with a variety of AppleTV’s and I’ve checked software updates on the devices. The AppleTV’s are older.

What are you trying to mirror? Some content, apps, services may refuse to work with AirPlay.
Some apps may switch automatically from screen mirroring to ‘basic’ AirPlay, as programmed to do.

Anything. Even the home screen doesn’t cast. The only things that cast are videos from YouTube, Google Drive, or even Vimeo works. Today the website in Safari didn’t work but the embedded Vimeo video plays on the appleTV.
