my camera will not show up in privacy settings

I have been trying to fix my camera for a week and it is not in my privacy settings and I have no idea how to put it back. I have many online meetings I need to use my camera for so I'm a little worried haha

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.12

In MacOS 12 & 13 there is no Camera choice in Privacy.
