Microsoft provides a keyboard mapping article that shows using a Windows keyboard with macOS.
Other 'reverse-logic' views include using an Apple article 'using windows with bootcamp'.
Either of these can show the correct keys, both ways. These may help.
I have a windows keyboard in my imac and i can't use cmd + f2 to use my mac in Target View Mode with a macbook. So I thought about using the on-screen keyboard but even in that, I am not able to use the command cmd + F2.
Does your iMac fit the requirements for Target Display Mode use? See if this article helps:
Have you tried both the Windows key and the Control key on the PC keyboard?
What do you want this command to accomplish?
What is the year and Mac OS version of both Macs?
Cheers,
Jack
