We understand that you are hearing sound coming through the ear speaker on your iPhone 8. Does this mean that you are hearing sound from both the ear speaker and the bottom speaker or just the ear speaker?
If you are hearing it from both speakers, this is normal as the iPhone 8 uses both the ear and bottom speakers to create stereo sound.
