Filter unknown senders still give me notification

Hi,

I have filter unknown senders on and my phone has been doing a good job with putting the texts in the correct folder, however, I still get a notification and my text ringtone goes off no matter what folder a text goes to. While it’s great I can filter the messages the whole point is to not be annoyed by all of the spam texts I get. So, why is it filtering them but I still get a sound notification?
