I am seeing a weird situation. When the phone is in silent mode and I receive a messenger via Instagram or fb messenger, the phone vibrates like twice(not as usual). This is not happening always, but randomly. Having made factory reset and set up as new. Anyone else having this annoying problem? Thanks

It sounds as though your iPhone is vibrating when receiving incoming notifications for Instagram and Facebook Messenger. While the iPhone is silent you can have vibration alerts enabled. You can verify if this is enabled in Settings > Sounds & Haptics. If you see a green toggle to the right of 'Vibrate on Silent' that's indicating that feature is enabled, and would vibrate for incoming notifications from apps of which utilize that feature.

You may also experience the iPhone vibrate when placing the iPhone in to silent mode using the Ring/Silent switch.

When noticing the double vibration do you know if you may have recently received an SMS text message? The reason we ask is because if you receive an SMS text message, and it hasn't been read or acknowledged you may receive another vibration or alert tone after 2 minutes has passed. If so, this can explain the experience that you're having, or if you're receiving two notifications from the same app that could explain the vibration.
Let us know if that's what you're experiencing, or if you notice the vibrations without more notifications.
Thank you for your reply. I understand what you mean by that, but the situation is not that described. The weird issue i have is only with instagram messages and fb messages, and not always. It is a condition that randomly when i receive a message from the apps i mentioned, the phone seems to push the notification not in the correct way, so I don't have a vibration like zzz and stop as normally happens, but zz-zzz. I have captured the situation in a video, if there is a way to send you to help you even more. I ran diagnostics with apple, no hardware issue found, iOS 14.4.1 with factory reset and set up as new. It's an annoying issue. Thank you once again
Thank you for your reply. It is enabled. Propably i did not state correctly the issue. When i receive a message, the phone vibrates sometimes as two messages came together, but actually is one message. Zzz is the normal vibration, but sometimes the vibration is like zz-zzzz. I have captured it in a video.
