why does garageband keep slowing down my recording?

I've recorded all the instruments at the same tempo (108bpm) and when it came to my vocals I was recording them in fine the first few times but now every time I record it, I play it back and it's out of time, like it's been slowed down. I'm not singing it out of time, I'm singing it the same way I was before when it was working. I've done the enable flex and it's not helping. I don't understand why my vocals are slower than the rest of the song.

Hello, noah_devon!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here.

We see that you're experiencing an issue with GarageBand and want to see how we can help.

To start, have you tried recording that track again to see if the same issue happens? Alternatively, have you tried recording any other track to see if it happens there as well? It's also a good idea to try recording a track on a new project. This is just an isolating step, to see if the issue continues to occur. If not, then it can tell us that there may be a setting somewhere causing the out of time issues you're experiencing.

We also wanted to share a couple of resources we think may be helpful to you:

We hope this does the trick for you!

Cheers.
