All of a sudden I can no longer send emails from my comics.net email account on my iPhone 11. I am still able receive emails from that account. I can also send and receive emails from my google account okay. I have tried deleting the account but that didn't help. Also, when I added the Comcast.net email account back on my phone it added it as a pop account. Any help?

We understand the concern, however our recommendation would remain the same. If you've fully deleted the account under Settings > Mail and it still won't properly add back as an IMAP or allow you to send mail, the best course of action is to contact your email provider.
Your iPhone simply syncs with that email account using the settings they provide. Again, it typically does this automatically but if there is a problem related to your account, it may lead to issues with sending or receiving. Comcast would be the ones in the position to isolate and resolve it.

If you're still able to receive but not send, and have made no changes to your account or devices, there may be a temporary outage with Comcast email. If the issue has not already resolved itself, we'd recommend checking with Comcast to see if there's any ongoing issues.
Your iPhone will automatically configure most email address settings when entering them into your iPhone. According to the support article below, Comcast supports IMAP, if it is automatically adding a POP account it may be because IMAP is currently unavailable.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried to reach out to Comcast but it is nearly impossible. My wife was able to send me an email from her Comcast email.
