Many times when i shut down or put in sleep mode i an having difficulty connecting with Wi Fi ?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Go to your Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Network and select WiFi, and pick advanced. Clean out all networks you don't want and manually add the network you want.


Note, not all WiFi's will finish logging on through the system preferences or menubar. Some require Firefox or Chrome to access the login page, while others require Safari to access the login page.


Don't use open WiFi's like XFinity, unless you have no choice, as these can be slower than a secure locked WPA2 WiFi.
