how can i place the iphone 6 in recovery mode if the home button doesn't work?

I forgot my passcode and my iphone has been disabled.

I was trying to follow the recovery mode option, however, my home button doesn't work and when I connect the phone to my PC it isn't recognizing it.

How can I recover my iphone given these challenges?
