Can the new MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) support a 49 inch wide external display?

Approximately 6,000 (6K) pixels of horizontal resolution.


You do not make clear the exact "49 inch wide external display"...(?)

6K equals ~6144x3160 TV


compare:


32-inch (diagonal) IPS LCD display with oxide TFT technology


  • Resolution: 6016 by 3384 pixels (20.4 million pixels) at 218 pixels per inch
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
