Apple Pay Pins

When I use my debit card on Apple Pay, some places won't let me bypass the pin, but my pin doesn't work. It works with the physical card just not apple pay. How can I resolve this?

Apple Pay won’t accept my debit card What can I do to make sure that the Apple Pay accepts my active debit card. I have tried multiple ways and it would not allow me to add my debit card as a form of Apple Pay.

Tell the cashier its credit not debit unless it will not let them differentiate.
