Recovery mode issues first gen iphone SE

Having battery draining issues on both of our first gen iphone SE's since updating to ios 14.4. Suggested I go into recovery mode and reset everything and start from scratch. I followed directions but can't get it to go into recovery mode. Help.

Just tried a combo that worked to get me into recovery mode. Issue resolved thanks. Now I just hope it helps with the battery draining problem
