Is Notes available via Spotlight on Mac

So, I called Apple Support. Just posting to finalize

To get Notes to show up in Spotlight search, you have to make sure 'Other' is checked in Spotlight/Search Results

The suggestion is that a recent update must have inadvertently 'unchecked' that option, resulting in this issue for me.

I looked for one specific Note, searched for that title, but still nothing shows up on Spotlight.

My thought process was that I should go into System Preferences, Spotlight, and the choice to include 'Notes' would be there, but there is no checkbox for Notes there.

Where does macOS set the parameters for Spotlight, if not in System Preferences??
