It would help us help you if you told us what model/year computer you have.
You can install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant or using a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.
If you have a M1 Mac you can not install Windows.
Both Parallels and vmware are making software that will allow anyone to run Windows 10 on a M1 Mac.
Parallels Desktop 16 is supported to work on MacOS Big Sur 11.0 though. It isn't beta software at all BobTheFisherman. People have used Parallels for years with Bootcamp to run Windows 10 on any iMac or Mac mini Desktop or any MacBook laptops. They just now made it compatible with M1 Macs.

Windows can not be installed on that computer.
Then look at VMWARE Hub found at, https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/81678?lang=en_US that allows people to install Windows 10 on their M1 Macs.
You appear to be not reading what you are posting. The original poster has a M1 Mac. None of the virtual machine developers have a production level virtual machine working on an M1 Mac that runs Windows. Microsoft does not have a Windows version that runs on an M1 Mac.
Boot Camp Support Notation: Can not be done on newest Apple Silicon M1 CPUs only Intel

the key word here is TRYING. they have NOT been successful as of yet.
here's a screen grab from the very page you sourced above with the important part underlined. (note: it's the first line.)
Windows won't run on a M1 Mac and Parallels is testing on the M1.
I received my MacBook Air M1 on the 15th March. Set up after updating OS. All went fine. Installed some Intel protea,s and they did run well. By the 25th my Mac was performing well. Noticed that Gmail and Facebook were using battery when Mac on sleep mode. Had to log out and found battery drain.-NIL.
Then ventured to download Parallels for ARM and Windows 10 for ARM. Installed like a breeze and smooth operation.
The next day found 30% of battery drained and from Activity monitor found "Windows server" taking 35% of the processor and 1.8 Gb swap space. This was inspire having 16 Gb Memory and 8 Gb free. Could not find a solution and reinstalled OS and other programs. On installing Parallels, found the Windows server taking control of the Mac and gobbling up processor and power. Therefore do not load parallels ever. It will severely damage your SSD and slow down the machine draining battery.
Thank you for listening. Please pass on this message
Do you realize that you are installing beta software and that Windows 10 does not run on a M1 Mac?

I'm not looking anywhere. Why are you telling me to do so? I already know that Windows does not run on an M1 Mac.
I just found out Microsoft is trying to work with Parallels to make an ARM version of Windows 10 available to run on the newer M1 Macs found at, https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_install/how-to-test-windows-10-arm-insider-on-m1-macs/7082dca1-f70c-4986-a73f-4770a11c86d4.
