After updating the last ipadOS, the fingerprint feature stopped working. Anybody has the same problem?

I know how to fix it, first , go to settings>Touch ID and passcode
Then,toggle on unlock iPad
after doing that , it should be the same as the photo, and there you go, problem solved

And more: when I activated the button "Allow access when locked > USB accessories", the problem disappeared, even when charging! Why it was deactivated, I don' know. Now everything is OK, though I blamed the update at first.
You need to be mindful of the USB Accessories permission - as this is a critical security item.
The default setting is OFF - this being intended to ensure that your device remains secure from external root-kit attacks, from connected computers, when your device is locked. When this permission is toggled to ON, as indicated in your post, this layer of protection is removed.

Thank you Ryan. I discovered that my problem is somehow connected with charging. It appeared when the carging cable was attached and disappeared when the cable was unplugged. Should it be this way? I never noticed that before. Thank you for the response.
