macOS Big Sur Install - stuck Checking "(null)"...
The installation is getting stuck and I can't seem to get past this point, any advice would be most welcome.

Force Shutdown via Power Button / Touch ID. Disconnect all external drives and connect to charger. Restart and Immediately hold - Shift -. This is Safe Mode and it does a Repair Disk, clears cache files and only loads Apple Software and Fonts. Hopefully- this may or may not allow the installer to complete the process.
