Weird Text from a gmail account on Iphone, could i be hacked w/o opening the link

Hi, so I got this weird text tonight on my iphone 12 from a gmail account. Normally I would just chalk that up to be being a scam attempt, but what worries me is the email had my last name and birth month for the username- for example if my last name was Smith and my birthday was June, it was. I immediately deleted the text message and never opened it, but I'm terrified just because of the username because it wasn't something random.

I'm not sure what to do or if I should be worried. I read an article about how some hackers can hack into your phone w/o you even opening the link and it wasn't even a link it was just a bunch of random numbers and letters from what the preview showed me. So I'm worried someone has control of my device.

Please any insight would be great because I am having an anxiety attack.
