So my Apple ID does not exist and I don’t know what the password is how can I change my Apple ID so I can update all my apps

If your Apple ID does not exist then there is no Apple ID to change and there isn't a password to forget, or am I not following the logic of this? Kind of along the reasoning of cogito ergo sum.
